Zicla and its project Vectorial, within the 'Best Practice Publication in Circular Design’

The project ‘Circular Design: Learning for Innovative Design for Sustainability’, participated by BCD, just released the second case study within the Best Practice Publication in Circular Design, which includes a fine selection of products, initiatives and projects that will help us to understand the critical role of design to minimise the environmental impact of consumption, reduce the use of resources and rethink the way our societies work.

The eighth edition of jumpthegap® starts with its presentation in Moscow

The presentation of the Roca International Design Contest jumpthegap® coincides with the opening of the registrations period. The competition, with its more than 20,600 participants from 134 countries in its seven editions, has established itself as a global reference point in design contests. Looking for new innovative and sustainable concepts for the bathroom space of the future, the contest promoted by Roca is a platform for young architects and designers to show their talent.
'Inspired in Barcelona: Design Editions' visits the London Design Festival!

Under the Inspired in Barcelona brand, BCD Barcelona Design Center, with the support of the Barcelona City Council, will present a collection of brands and designers which work has been inspired by the values, excellence and lifestyle of Barcelona, at the London Design Festival.

The Circular Design project releases the first case study of its Best Practice publication

One of the main goals of the European project Circular Design – Learning for Innovative Design for Sustainability, participated by BCD is involved, is to inspire designers, businesses and design students in the process of developing more sustainable products and services.

The Barcelona Design Week closed it doors with a record of 43,000 visitors!

On June 14 Barcelona Design Week came to an end, which had taken place between the 5th and 14th of June throughout the whole city. The number of visitors to the 130 programme activities was high, with 43 116 attendees, a figure that is double the number of participants from previous efforts, and surpassing the expectations of the organisers.
